Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 14 April 2025
We use a small number of cookies on this website. This page explains what they are, why we use them, and how you can adjust your preferences at any time. We believe in being straightforward about this — there is nothing surprising in our cookie use.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences between visits, and to give site owners a basic understanding of how their pages are used.
Cookies cannot access other files on your device and are not programs — they cannot carry viruses or harm your system. You can view, clear, or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.
2. Cookie Types We Use
We use four categories of cookies. You can manage your preferences for optional categories below.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some content embedded on this site — such as maps or external media — may set their own cookies. These are set by the third party directly, and their use is governed by those third parties' own privacy policies. Third parties that may set cookies include:
- Google (Maps embed, Analytics) — Google Privacy Policy
We do not use social media tracking pixels or advertising network cookies on this site at present.
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two broad groups by lifespan:
- Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for basic site function during your visit.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (see durations in the category cards above). Your consent preference, for example, is stored as a persistent cookie so you are not prompted on every visit.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
In addition to the controls above, you can manage cookies directly through your browser. The steps differ slightly by browser:
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right.
- Choose Settings, then scroll to Privacy and security.
- Click Cookies and other site data.
- Select your preferred setting — you can block all cookies, allow only first-party, or manage exceptions per site.
- To delete existing cookies, click See all site data and permissions and use the delete controls.
Mozilla Firefox
- Click the menu button (≡) and choose Settings.
- Select Privacy & Security in the left panel.
- Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose your preferred level (Standard, Strict, or Custom).
- To view and delete cookies, scroll to Cookies and Site Data and click Manage Data.
Apple Safari
- Open Safari and go to Safari > Preferences (Mac) or Settings > Safari (iPhone/iPad).
- Click the Privacy tab (Mac) or scroll to Privacy & Security (iOS).
- You can block all cookies or prevent cross-site tracking from here.
- To delete existing cookies on Mac, go to Manage Website Data and remove individual entries.
Microsoft Edge
- Click the three-dot menu (…) in Edge and choose Settings.
- Go to Cookies and site permissions.
- Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- You can toggle third-party cookies or add exceptions for specific sites.
- Click See all cookies and site data to inspect or delete individual entries.
Mobile browsers — most mobile browsers offer cookie controls in the app's Settings or Privacy section. The steps above for Chrome and Safari apply to their mobile versions as well.
6. Your Rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:
- Withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time using the controls on this page;
- Ask us what information we hold about you via cookies or website analytics;
- Request deletion of any identifiable personal data associated with your visit.
Note that disabling analytics or preference cookies will not affect your ability to use this website. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without affecting basic functionality.
